[B2C] HERITAGE — InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s Mid-Autumn Festival Marketing Collateral

For InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s Mid-Autumn Festival brochure, we worked closely with the local designer +sukha to create a visually cohesive and culturally rich marketing piece. The collaboration seamlessly blended the elegance of traditional Chinese design with modern luxury, reflecting the essence of the festival. The design approach centered around showcasing +sukha’s bespoke textile patterns, incorporating them into the mooncake packaging and overall visual aesthetic.

The written content crafted was designed to evoke a sense of warmth, community, and celebration, aligning with both the Mid-Autumn Festival’s themes and the InterContinental brand’s message of hospitality especially during tough times during the pandemic. By focusing on the meaningful connection between tradition and luxury, we highlighted the collaboration’s significance, particularly emphasizing the support for local artisans and +sukha’s dedication to providing opportunities post-pandemic.

This project was a balance of cultural storytelling and modern branding, to ensure that the brochure not only promoted the premium mooncakes but also conveyed the importance of community, tradition, and craftsmanship in a way that resonated with the audience all while keeping in mind to remain within InterContinental’s ethos of luxury hospitality.
