
AD Bakehouse is a bakery founded for the love of creating high-quality treats that bring joy to everyone. Each treat is crafted with love and expertise, reflecting their commitment to quality and delighting customers with every bite. The rebrand was done as the owner wanted to shift away from her prior branding which was heavily tied with herself as an individual.
The concept was inspired by the owner’s playful personality as well as for love of wordplay, as AD could be read as #SponsoredbyAD (a cheeky way to poke fun at influencer posting sponsored ads but do not directly disclose whether they were sponsored or not), or #ADloveyou (read as A-D “already” love you in a colloquial way in Malaysia amongst Chinese speakers) or #weADoreyou.
As for the colors, the bright bold palette was intentionally chosen as she wanted her brand to always reflect a child-like wander that’s happy and cheery.
