The Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2023, held from January 24th to 29th at Istora Stadium in Jakarta, was the third tournament of the 2023 Badminton World Federation World Tour and the first HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 event of the year.
Organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI), players from around the world competed for a prize pool of USD $420,000. The tournament witnessed thrilling matches and intense competition, with both Indonesian and Chinese players securing two titles each across various categories. Highlights include Jonatan Christie’s men’s singles win and the historic victory of unseeded Indonesian pair Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin in men’s doubles. Fans enjoyed live streaming on BWF TV and on-site activities, making it a successful and memorable event.
